WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE

Mrakki Academy is Utah’s first-ever state licensed lash + brow school built for women who want more than just a license — they want a real career and a fresh start.

What makes it unique is that the entire program is designed around the new 275-hour lash + brow license.

Unlike traditional cosmetology schools that teach outdated, bare-minimum techniques, our curriculum is constantly updated with trending services, real client communication, and business strategies that actually get artists booked. The academy offers a luxury style environment that feels more like stepping into your future career than sitting in a classroom. Students learn directly from someone who built a six-figure beauty business from the ground up, giving them real-world guidance, not just theory.

Graduates will have the opportunity to work next door at Mrakki Brow Bar as they get on their feet, making the transition into the industry seamless.

More than anything, Mrakki Academy is a place where women who have always poured into others finally get permission — and a pathway — to pour into themselves.

This academy matters to me because it’s the school I desperately needed when I was a young mom trying to rebuild my entire life. I know what it feels like to be underestimated, broke, scared, and still show up because your kids are watching. Beauty school changed everything for me — it gave me skills, confidence, and a path out of survival mode. But it wasn’t easy, and I had to fight through childcare costs, long hours, and a system that wasn’t designed for women like me. That’s why creating a school with support, childcare, and real-world education isn’t just a business decision — it’s my way of breaking the cycle for someone else. I want women to walk into Mrakki Academy and feel hope, direction, and possibility again. I want them to know they’re capable of rewriting their story, just like I did. This academy is my proof that where you start doesn’t determine where you can go, and now I get to hand that truth to the next woman who needs it. I’m someone who wasn’t supposed to “make it,” but I did. I was a high school dropout and a young mom who once worked for $12 an hour and lived paycheck to paycheck, praying something would change. I sold my house to go to school because I believed there had to be more for my family, and that risk became the foundation of everything I have today. I built Mrakki Brow Bar from nothing, hired a team, and created a life I used to only dream about. I’m not the polished, perfect version of success — but I’m the proof that resilience, grit, and doing whatever it takes can change everything. And because of that journey, I feel called to help other women find the same kind of freedom, confidence, and stability. I’m here to show them that their past doesn’t define them — it’s the very reason they can succeed.
